The Path to Self-Discovery I suppose I should start by giving some backstory. I was baptized Catholic as an infant and attended many different denominational churches throughout my life. From a very young age, my life felt like an uphill battle. If I wanted anything, it seemed I had to fight tooth and nail for it. One of my favorite sayings growing up was, "Father never gives us more than we can handle." I would often respond, "I just wish he didn't have so much faith in me."
